Past Seasons Recap | Touchdowns For Technology

For the past 3 New England football seasons, Internet security company Kaspersky Lab has donated one computer for every touchdown New England scored during their regular football season. A total of 168 computers have been donated to thirty schools in New England. The winning schools in the first 2 seasons were chosen from hundreds of essays submitted by students, parents, teachers, administrators and other community members throughout New England. In its 3^rd season schools were randomly chosen each week from thousands of entries.

The computers are delivered to each of the winning schools by Kaspersky Lab. As part of the delivery, the schools are presented documentation on the importance of safe computing while surfing online and visiting popular social networking sites.
